Dominic Hood's in the Adams County Jail

A Quincy man, already due to go on trial next month on drug charges, now faces a more serious charge.

The West Central Illinois Task Force said Tuesday morning that they and the Quincy Police Department's Street Crimes Unit arrested 30 year old Dominic Hood Saturday, after an investigation. Hood's been charged with Meth Delivery over 15 grams, which is a Class X felony. The Task Force says in a statement that Hood was selling meth, and adds that the investigation continues, and more arrests are expected. Hood's in the Adams County Jail, awaiting a bond hearing.

Court records show that at his arrest, Hood was out on bond in a 2017 drug case in Adams County involving cocaine possession. That case will go to trial next month.
