Quincy man arrested on meth charge Wednesday morning

Troy Owsley, Sr. picked up at his home in 400 block of Cedar

A Quincy man's been arrested on a meth charge after authorities raided his home Wednesday morning.

The West Central Illinois Task Force says 47 year old Troy Owsley, Senior was nabbed during a raid on his home in the 400 block of Cedar. He was arrested on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, after a search warrant was served at the home. The Task Force says its' agents, along with Quincy Police and the Adams County Sheriffs Office took part in the raid, which turned up meth, digital scales, and packaging materials. Owsley's in the Adams County Jail.

Court records show that Owsley's on parole from the Illinois Department of Corrections, and is also due to go on trial next month in Adams County on three counts of theft.
