Jerome Mason taken in Monday night

A Quincy man is facing meth charges, after his home just east of Quincy was raided Monday night.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the West Central Illinois Task Force says they and the Adams County Sheriffs Office served a search warrant at a home in the six thousand block of Hickory Grove South. The Task Force says they seized meth, along with an indoor cannabis grow and drug paraphernalia. The home's owner, 28 year old Jerome Mason, wasn't there during the raid, but was later found at a tattoo shop in the 800 block of Maine in Quincy. Mason was arrested on a charge of Meth Possession.

He was taken to the Adams County Jail, and was waiting for a bond hearing.
