Bobby Hill could get up to 60 years in prison when he's sentenced Feb. 27
A Quincy man could spend up to 60 years in prison after he was convicted Wednesday afternoon by an Adams County jury on four counts, including two counts of sexual assault against a child.
That jury deliberated for less than two hours before returning a Guilty verdict against Bobby Hill. A statement from the Adams County State's Attorney's Office says that Hill was convicted on two counts of Criminal Sexual Assault, and two counts of Child Pornography. The statement says that during the trial, Assistant State's Attorney Anita Rodriguez argued that Hill "took advantage of his long friendship with the victim's family" to be alone with, and then assault the child. The incidents happened in mid-August and early September 2018. Hill had been charged with nine felony counts before going on trial, including being indicted on four child porn counts in December.
Hill remains in the Adams County Jail, and will be sentenced February 27th.
