Dominic Hood pleaded Guilty to meth distribution charge in July

One of two Quincy men, who's admitted his part in a Federal drug charge, has been sentenced to prison.

Dominic Hood was sentenced Monday in US District Court in Springfield to 10 years in Federal prison. He'll also have 8 years of supervised release once he's out. Hood pleaded Guilty in July to one count of Distributing a Controlled Substance. A second man, Malcolm Trezvant, also faces that same charge and is due to go on trial in December. Hood has admitted selling over 5 grams of Meth in Quincy in early February. Both were arrested by US Marshals in April. Hood had an Adams County count of Meth Delivery dropped in April, while Trezvant had the same charge dropped in Adams County in June.

Trezvant is being held by US Marshals.
