Lori Thompson suspected of setting July 2 fire at home on Curved Creek Road

A Quincy woman, already facing numerous arson charges, has been arrested on more charges after another suspicious fire last week.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday that 55-year old Lori Thompson was arrested on charges of Aggravated Arson and Residential Arson. She's suspected of starting a fire on the night of July 2nd, at a home on Curved Creek Road, just south of Quincy. The Sheriff's Office had said earlier they regarded that fire as suspicious. Thompson's already been indicted on five counts of Residential Arson and one count of Aggravated Arson, for allegedly setting fires to three Quincy-area homes in 2016 and 2017, including three at a home on Curved Creek Road. She had been free on $50,000 bond, and is due back in court next month.

Thompson's now in the Adams County Jail on $5 million bond.
