Crews searching around Lock and Dam 21 for Ean Reinold
Search crews have started their second full day of operations near Lock and Dam 21 for a missing Quincy man, whose boat capsized Saturday afternoon.
The Illinois Conservation Police tells our news-gathering partners at KHQA-TV that 19-year-old Ean Reinold is still missing. Two other boaters riding with Reinold were wearing life-jackets and were successfully rescued, shortly after 4 PM Saturday afternoon. After stopping Saturday night, crews resumed their search Sunday morning, and continued searching until dark Sunday night. Officials say two sonar boats are being used, as well as several boats actively dragging near Lock and Dam 21.
