Sentencing delayed for Subway robber

Sentencing delayed for Subway robber

6 years, 9 months ago by Scott Hardy

Isaac Hickman will be sentenced September 8

A Quincy man, who admitted his role in the February armed robbery of the Subway restaurant at 936 Broadway, has had his sentencing delayed.

Isaac Hickman was due to appear Friday in Adams County Circuit Court for a status hearing. Instead, he recently was in court, where his request to delay the sentencing was granted. Hickman entered a Guilty plea to one count of Aggravated Robbery at a hearing in April, and admitted robbing the restaurant on February 13th. As part of plea deal, Hickman agreed to enter a drug treatment program. If he completes the program, he could get a maximum sentence of five years in prison. He is also eligible for parole.

Hickman has been free on a recognizance bond, to attend treatment. He’ll now be sentenced September 8th.
