Six more new cases of COVID-19 in Adams County

1 month, 1 week ago by Scott Hardy

62 total, with 12 new cases in last two days

The Adams County Health Department says six more people have tested positive for COVID-19.

That brings the county's total to 62, with 12 cases in the last two days. The Department says in a statement on its' online dashboard that contact tracing is underway on the six new cases. The Department says that the contact tracing shows "epidemiological linkages" of each of the six cases to previously known recent case clusters. The Health Department says that it is still extremely important to watch for symptoms of COVID-19 and to stay away from others when you have symptoms. They admit that while that may be a challenge in households, people with symptoms should try to self-isolate or seek alternate housing arrangements while they're ill.

The Health Department recommends that all symptomatic people also seek testing by calling their healthcare provider or the community hotline and telling them you have COVID-19 symptoms.
