Jerry Coram, Jr. suspected in Saturday theft, also faces several weapons charges

An area man facing theft and weapons charges in connection with a burglary in Plainville over the weekend will have a preliminary hearing next Friday.

32-year old Jerry Coram, Jr. was in Adams County Circuit Court Friday morning, where he was charged with counts of Residential Burglary, Theft, three counts of a Felon in Possession of a Weapon and Aggravated Fleeing. Coram's bond in those cases was set at a combined $450,000. He was first arrested Thursday morning by Quincy police on the Theft and Fleeing charges. That included an incident where Coram is accused of side-swiping two vehicles at 52nd and Broadway while trying to elude police. He was arrested on the other charges early Friday at the County Jail. In that case, Coram's suspected of taking several firearms, ammo and other items from a Plainville home last Saturday.

Coram's also facing a weapon charge and one count of drug possession from a December 2017 incident.
