"Substantial quantity" of meth found, along with pot, pills, money and a loaded gun

Three Hannibal residents face drug trafficking charges after their arrest by ACES officers.

The HPD released a statement Monday, saying they got a tip last Friday that several people were possibly trespassing at a home in the 31 hundred block of St. Charles Street, and using drugs. When officers searched the home, they found several people inside, along with a substantial quantity of meth, marijuana, currency, several bottles of prescription drugs and a loaded hand gun. A large amount of stolen property was also found, which is thought to be from recent burglaries being investigated by Hannibal detectives. 39 year old Richard Thrun, 39 year old Faron Elzea and 37 year old Erin Inlow all face a 2nd Degree Trafficking charge. A fourth person, Christopher Sams, was arrested on a possession charge and released.

Thrun, Elzea, and Inlow are all in the Marion County Jail on $50,000 cash-only bond, and all three will be arraigned Friday.
