Attendees at Salem Baptist Church in Center exposed Sunday

Another three cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Ralls County, and officials there say church-goers in Center may have been exposed.

The Ralls County Health Department Tuesday said it learned of two new cases late Monday afternoon and an additional case Tuesday morning. That brings the total number to 9 cases, with 6 people having recovered. The Health Department says its' staff is working with the State Department of Health and Senior Services on contract tracing for those who were possibly exposed. In addition, the Health Department says that those who attended Salem Baptist Church in Center on Sunday are being asked to monitor for signs and symptoms of illness. The Health Department says it's been in touch with any close contacts of the positive case. Those people were given guidance on quarantine and signs and symptoms to watch for.

If you develop symptoms, contact your health care provider, get tested and remain at home away from others while awaiting results.
