Several streets in downtown closed Friday and Saturday
The 43rd annual Tin-Dusters Color Run is back in Quincy this weekend, and that means several streets in downtown Quincy will be closed Saturday.
Due to the event being held in the downtown Historic Business District, the city has OK'd several street closures from 5 PM Friday to 5 PM Saturday. They include Maine from 4th to 8th Streets, Hampshire from 4th to 8th Streets, and 5th, 6th and 7th Streets from Vermont to Jersey. City Lots F, G and I will also be closed, as will the City Hall lot at 8th and Maine.
In a news release from The District, they say that the event will bring a large number of pedestrians to downtown. They ask that drivers pay extra attention when driving downtown this weekend.
