Turner trial delayed to April 2018

2 months ago by Scott Hardy

Accused in Nov 2016 deaths of three people in Schuyler County, MO

A Schuyler County, Missouri man, involved in a crash that killed three people last fall, has had his trial pushed back to next April.

Bradley Turner was in Macon County court Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing, where a motion from his defense to delay his October 30th trial was granted. The 5-day trial, being heard in Macon County on a change of venue from Schuyler County, will now be held starting April 16, 2018. Turner's pleaded Not Guilty to one count of vehicular involuntary manslaughter, two counts of felony second-degree assault and Careless and Imprudent driving. The charges stem from a crash in November 2016 that left 3 northeast Missouri teens dead and two others injured. Turner and the others were allegedly hill-jumping in his pickup before the accident.

He remains free on bond, and will next be in court March 28th.
