Raymond Morton, Jacqueline Reay arrested Saturday in North Arch raid

Police say two Hannibal residents were arrested Saturday on drug and weapons charges during a raid on a Hannibal home by ACES officers.

In a Monday statement, the HPD says ACES officers and the Marion County Sheriff's Department raided the home in the 300 block of North Arch, and found items consistent with meth use as well as two stolen handguns and an illegally possessed 22 caliber rifle. Police say 63 year old Raymond Morton was arrested for charges of unlawful possession of a weapon, receiving stolen property, meth possession and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. 51 year old Jacqueline Reay was also arrested for meth possession, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, and unlawful transfer of a weapon.

Morton's expected to be charged Monday and is in the Marion County Jail. Reay's free, pending a review by Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton.
