Third person, 17 yr old, may also be charged
Two Quincy residents were arrested on drug charges Monday night, and a third person may face charges, after a traffic stop on Quincy's south side.
The West Central Illinois Task Force says they and the Adams County Sheriff's Office made the stop near 8th and Madison, and arrested a 17 year old juvenile, and 20 year old Kerry Talburt for Pot Possession. During the stop, 37 year old Zana Owsley approached the officers, and was arrested on an outstanding Adams County warrant for failure to appear. She was searched, and officers say they found a controlled substance. Talburt and Owsley were taken to the Adams County Jail, while the juvenile was released to a parent pending charges.
Officers then searched Talburt's apartment in the 1000 block of Jersey, where they found more pot, pot edibles, and drug paraphernalia. Talburt faces additional charges of Pot Trafficking and Pot Possession.
