Adams Co Sheriff's Office says accident happened Thursday on Highway 24
Two people were hurt, one seriously, in a two-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Adams County.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened around 5:45 PM on Highway 24 at North 87th Street. In a report, deputies say that a vehicle driven by 45 year old Craig Burwinkel of Fowler was slowing down to turn off 24, when a second vehicle, driven by 23 year old Kathleen Hull of Pittsfield, rear-ended him.
Both were taken to Blessing Hospital; Hull with serious injuries, while Burwinkel had only minor injuries.
