Jack Thomas to visit campus next Thursday
Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas is one of five finalists for the President's job at Boise State University.
Boise State announced the finalists Wednesday afternoon. Thomas is expected to visit the Idaho campus on Thursday, April 26th. While he's there, Thomas will host two open forums, one with faculty and staff, and one with students. Thomas has been WIU's President since 2011, and has been outspoken that WIU receive full funding from the state of Illinois, especially during the two-year budget crisis.
Prior to being named WIU President, Thomas served as the school's provost and academic vice president.
