HPD release few details about Sunday afternoon incident
A Hannibal teen's been arrested, after allegedly running her car into another person at Hope and Griffith Streets Sunday afternoon.
Hannibal police say they were called to the area just after 4PM about a disturbance involving a large group of people. Police say that the hit and run happened during the disturbance, when the 17-year old girl allegedly drove her car through the crowd and hit another woman. The impact caused the victim to fly over the car, and land on a parked vehicle. She was taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment. Police say they later found the 17-year old arrested her.
Police have released few other details, but say their investigation continues, and they may release more information later.
