Sarah Mayfield likely to be charged with Aggravated Assault

A 32-year old Quincy woman will be charged with pulling a gun on a tow truck driver last weekend.

Adams County State's Attorney Gary Farha said Thursday that he will file charges against Sarah Mayfield. She's accused of confronting a tow truck driver with a handgun Sunday afternoon in the Rancho Vista Trailer Park, just north of Quincy. The Adams County Sheriff's Office said in a report that Mayfield drove away from the scene with a cable still attached to the vehicle, causing damage to the tow truck.

She was later arrested on a charge of Aggravated Assault. Mayfield's likely to appear in court December 18th.
