John Rokusek pleads Guilty to 3 of 9 counts he faced.

A Quincy businessman, accused of video-taping people without their permission for over two years, has admitted doing so three times.

John Rokusek was in Adams County Circuit Court Thursday afternoon, where he pleaded Guilty to three felony counts of unauthorized video recording. As part of a settlement with prosecutors, they dropped six additional counts. Each count has a 1 to 3-year prison sentence, and a 25 thousand dollar fine. Rokusek admitted to the illegal taping in late October, and early November 2021. Prosecutors had said they found evidence of the illegal taping that happened between 2019 and early November 2021 in a locker room and bathroom at Rokusek's business on South 18th Street. They also say that police found up to 200 images, and that two victims came forward about the recordings. Six civil suits have also been filed against Rokusek. He'll be sentenced April 21st.

Rokusek remains free on $100,000 bond, and plans to file an appeal.
