107 new cases reported Tuesday, most since January
There's been a big one-day jump in the number of new cases of COVID-19 in Adams County.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported Wednesday that 107 new cases were reported Tuesday in the county. That's the highest one-day total since 140 new cases were reported on January 29th. The 107 new cases are on top of 58 new cases reported Sunday and Monday. In addition, 15 new cases were reported Tuesday in McDonough County, and 13 new cases in Pike County. The total number of cases in Adams County is at 23 thousand, 500 since the start of the pandemic.
210 people in Adams County have died of COVID-19.
