Dr. Douglas Palmer to become President of Siena Heights University in Michigan

Culver-Stockton College says its' President is leaving at the end of the spring semester.

The College announced Friday that Dr. Douglas Palmer has accepted the position of president of Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. He'll leave C-SC on June 30 and begin his new jopb in July. Dr. Palmer, C-SC’s 27th president, joined the College in 2020 from Walsh University. He sited the school's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, saying "I am proud of the work we accomplished as a team and I believe that Culver-Stockton shined during this period.” During Dr. Palmer's time at the College, C-SC launched an Ag Business Management degree program, was re-accredited for 10 years, and established the permanent home for the Tri-State Development Summit.

The College says that a search for Culver-Stockton College’s 28th president will begin shortly.
