Jordan Payne had faced counts of 2nd Degree Murder and Assault

A Hannibal man, one of five people charged in connection with the October beating death of a Hannibal man, has had all charges against him dropped.

Jordan Payne was due in Marion County Circuit Court Friday for a case management hearing. Instead, he was released from the Marion County Jail, after County Prosecutor Luke Bryant filed a motion Thursday to drop all charges. Payne had pleaded Not Guilty to counts of 2nd Degree Murder and Assault. Four other people, Tiara Bonner, Jason Anderson, Kaelin Rickey and Thomas Payne also face those same charges. Rickey's also charged with one count of evidence tampering. She, Anderson and Thomas Payne will all have their cases heard in Boone County. Bonner will have her case heard in Adair County. All four are accused of taking part in the October 9th beating death of Dusty Wilson, outside a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street.

Bonner and Anderson are held without bond, while Rickey and Thomas Payne are in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 bond each.
