Clayton teen charged in Camp Point shooting death to enter plea next week

Wyond Bynum to be arraigned September 20.

A Clayton teenager, accused of fatally shooting a Camp Point man in August, may enter a plea next week.

Wyond Bynum was in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday for a hearing, where a September 20th date was set for his arraignment. Bynum was indicted September 7th by an Adams County Grand Jury. He faces three counts of 1st Degree Murder in the August 14th shooting death of Jaycob Rowland. The Adams County Sheriff's Office says the shooting happened just after Midnight August 14th at a home in the 500 block of Jefferson Street in Camp Point. Rowland was first taken to the Adams County EMS station in Camp Point. He was then rushed to Blessing Hospital, where he were pronounced dead. Rowland was shot several times during the incident.

Bynum is in the Adams County Jail on $3 million bond.
