Johnathan Graff sentenced to two years behind bars

A former assistant coach at Quincy Notre Dame High School, who admitted sexually abusing a teenager, is going to prison.

Jonathan Graff was in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, where he was sentenced to two years in prison. He pleaded Guilty in late August to one count of Criminal Sexual Abuse, as part of a settlement with prosecutors. In return, prosecutors dropped a more serious count of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. Graff’s admitted having illicit contact with a 16-year old. He was indicted in early June by an Adams County Grand Jury. Graff, who had been an assistant coach for the QND girls basketball team for the past six years, was first suspected in May when police started investigating.

Police say they talked to the juvenile, and later say they saw Graff's car May 19th near 20th and Oak and arrested him there.
