Cheyenne Voelkel, 23, charged with Arson

Hannibal police say they've made an arrest after a house fire Thursday.

Police identify the suspect as 23-year old Cheyenne Voelkel of Hannibal. They say the arrest is in conjunction with a Thursday morning fire at a home in the 900 block of Fulton in Hannibal. A report says that HPD detectives were called soon after the report of the blaze, and working with the Missouri State Fire Marshall and Hannibal Fire Investigators, decided that the fire was deliberately set. Voelkel was arrested later Thursday. She's been charged with one count of 2nd Degree Arson.

Voelkel is in the Marion County Jail on $50,000 bond, and was due in court Friday morning.
