Threat sent by fax Thursday morning
The Quincy Public Schools says that someone sent a threat Thursday morning to Quincy High School.
QPS said Thursday that the threat was sent by a fax, and that it had nothing to do with the recent spate of shots-fired incidents on the city's northwest side. The statement says that the High School was searched by Quincy police, and that no threat was found. QPS says that the high school, its' students and staff are safe, and that the campus is secure. No word on if the school campus was locked down during the incident.
QPS administration do say they won't consent to an interview about the threat.
