Quincy woman pleads Guilty to lesser charges in 2021 drug death

Caitlin Dietiker enters Guilty plea in Adams County court

A Quincy woman, accused in the 2021 drug death of a Quincy woman, has pleaded Guilty to two lesser counts.

Caitlin Dietiker was in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, where she pleaded Guilty to one count of drug delivery and one count of possession, as part of a settlement with prosecutors. In return, they dropped a Class X count of Drug induced Homicide, a second count of drug delivery and one count of possession. Dietiker admitted supplying a dose of Fentanyl to Jillian Hogan last March. She later died due to the drug. Police started investigating after Hogan's death at a home in the 1200 block of Maine Street. Dietiker was arrested in late January on a warrant while in the Adams County Jail.

Dietiker's being held on $500,000 bond, and will be in court again August 3rd.
