Organization says it helped bring over 68,000 people to Quincy in 2023.

The Historic Quincy Business District held its' annual meeting and awards ceremony Wednesday night, the first for new District President Brianna Rivera.

Rivera was introduced at the meeting, her first after being named President at the beginning of the year. Board Vice President Tieraney Craig spoke to over 100 attendees, and noted that events sponsored by The District brought in over 68,000 people to Quincy last year. She also said that The District gained 19 new businesses, and Adams County over 75 new businesses in 2023. The District’s no-cost gift certificate program generated nearly $11,000 in revenue.

Award winners included First Mid Bank and Trust for organization of the year, Platt Daddy BBQ for new business of the year and Domestics Etc. for Business of the Year.
