119 new cases reported Wednesday; new one-day record

Two more Adams County residents have died of COVID-19, and another one-day record for positive results has been set.

The Adams County Health Department said Thursday that a woman in her 80's and a woman in her 90's both died of the virus. The death toll in Adams County from COVID-19 has now risen to 30. In addition, 119 new cases were confirmed Wednesday. They include 15 people age 10 to 19, 18 people in their 20's, 18 people in their 50's and 22 people in their 30's. The new results bring the County's total number of positives to 25 hundred 88. 59 people are hospitalized, with 5 in the Intensive Care Unit. Just 3 per cent of the County's hospital beds are available, and only 9 per cent of critical-care beds are available.

Adams County's 7-day positivity rate is at 17.5 per cent.
