Body of 24-year old man found Sunday afternoon
Adams County authorities say they're conducting a death investigation, after a man's body was found near Liberty Sunday afternoon.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office says deputies found the body of a white 24 year old man Sunday afternoon. Sheriff Brian VonderHaar says they know who the man is, but aren't identifying him yet, pending notification of family. VonderHaar says deputies were called to a building in rural Liberty around 4:45 PM, in the vicinity of North 650th Avenue and East 1800th Street, to investigate a report of an open door there. That's when they found the man's body in one of the buildings on the property.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene by County Coroner Jim Keller.
