Will expand refining, storage capacity
Archer Daniels Midland Compay says it plans to spend big to update its' Quincy facility.
ADM announced Monday that it will invest about $25 million to expand refining and storage capacity at its crush and refining facility in Quincy. A statement from the company says that the project will "fully align the location’s refining capabilities with its crush capacity and allow for greater flexibility in meeting the needs of ADM’s food, biofuel and industrial customers." ADM also announced Monday that it plans to spend $350 million to build a similar facility in Spiritwood, North Dakota.
The expansion at the Quincy facility is expected to be finished and online by the end of March 2022 at the latest.
