Jesse Huckaby arrested Sunday in a cemetery

A Ewing man's been arrested on charges that he tried to have sexual contact with two young girls.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office identifies the man as 42-year old Jesse Huckaby, and says he was arrested Sunday on two counts of 2nd Degree attempted statutory rape and one count of meth possession. A statement from the Sheriff's office says they received information Saturday that Huckaby was sending lewd photographs to two juvenile females. Sheriff's deputies then posed as the juveniles via text messaging or social media. They say Huckaby then drove to a cemetery where he thought he was meeting the girls. That's where Lewis County deputies arrested Huckaby.

He's in the Lewis County Jail on $50,00 cash-only bond. Last Thursday, Huckaby was sentenced to five years probation, a suspended sentence and 10 days in the Lewis County Jail after pleading Guilty to a drug possession charge from May.
