Total number of positives now at 763

The number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Adams County keeps increasing.

Monday, the Adams County Health Department said that 5 people tested positive for the virus on Sunday. They range in age from 20 to 79. The new cases increase the total number of positive results to 763. The Health Department says that 79 people are now actively infected. 15 people, aged 40 to 99 are in the hospital. Of those, 4 are in the Intensive Care Unit. The number of Adams County residents testing negative is now approaching 25,000. The County's medical capacity is holding steady, with 25 per cent of hospital beds and 34 per cent of critical care beds available. 51 per cent of the County's ventilators are also available. The County's positivity rate over the last 7 days is again nearing 4 per cent, at 3.98 per cent.

Seven Adams County residents have died of COVID-19.
