Tory Whitfield faces three charges after his arrest Wednesday
A Hannibal man's been arrested on child molestation charges.
The HPD said Thursday they arrested 41-year old Tory Whitfield, after an investigation by their detectives and the Marion County Children's Division of the State Department of Social Services. A statement says Whitfield was picked up Wednesday, after a warrant was issued earlier in the day. Whitfield's been charged with two counts of 2nd Degree Child Molestation, and one count of Statutory Sodomy. Prosecutors say the incidents involved a victim under 12 years old, and happened May 1st.
Whitfield's in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash-only bond, and will be in court Friday morning.
