Christopher Huckstep, 51, charged with 3 counts of 1st Degree Murder

Quincy police have released the identity of the person murdered Wednesday morning on the city's northwest side, and of the person who they think pulled the trigger.

Police identified the victim as 26-year old Emond Morris of Quincy, and say he died of a single gun-shot wound around 3:30 AM Wednesday at a home in the 700 block of Cedar. 51-year old Christopher Huckstep of Quincy has been charged with three counts of 1st Degree Murder in the shooting. Morris's body was found by officers shortly after they arrived. A report says that they found Huckstep a short time after the shooting in the 1200 block of North 12th Street. They also found a firearm while arresting Huckstep. His bond was due to be set Wednesday afternoon, and will likely be $5 million. Huckstep will have his first court appearance either on Thursday or Friday morning.

He's currently in the Adams County Jail.
