Stop posting blah-blah-blah. You're better than that.
On the heels of Donald Trump pulling America out of the Paris Accord, FACEBOOK, which should be called “IN YOUR FACEBOOK” has become unbearable.
What’s the story?
If it’s not something about Kathy Griffin or Hillary or the Russians, it’s every Hollywood type prattling on about the end of the earth as we know it. I mean, how many “friends” does a person have to block before you can spend some time looking at social media without having to take a shower afterwards?
The division in the country didn’t just happen; it’s been here for decades. And the over population of talking heads and the beast that is the 24/7 news cycle has made things worse.
News flash: EVERYONE you see on TV, guest and host alike, are being compensated. Period. As is most every politician on both the left and right. It’s been happening for years and will continue to happen.
You, the average FACEBOOK user, are, most likely, not being compensated. You’re just doing your part for the left team or the right team and attempting to help “the cause”—whatever “the cause is”.
And that’s where we, members of the “Entitled States of America”, are right now. Posting this video and that link in an effort to see if anyone will “Like” us, or comment or, heaven forbid, disagree with us and post a challenge. This is America’s new way of getting socially involved and, in some respects, attempting to "be somebody!"

For me FACEBOOK has been a great place to re-connect with old friends, learn a recipe or two and maybe find a deal on something I didn’t really need to buy. But now FACEBOOK is just another in a growing list of hate filled social media opportunities where one can bitch and be bitched at. Two weeks ago I actually talked to someone who had formed a group devoted to “venting” about anything and everything. This person had appointed herself as the “social justice advocate” for those in her group. Getting “socially” involved with other people’s problems was part of her day.
I’m not making this stuff up.
So, I close by asking those of you who have taken the time to read this to:
1. Quit with all the Obama stuff both pro and con
2. Lay off of the Hillary this and Donald that content
3. Stay away from the racial content
4. Share a good recipe
5. Show me some pictures of the fish you just caught
6. Brag about your kids
7. Help me find a deal on a used tractor
8. Pray for someone who’s having a rough time
9. Reach out to someone you haven’t contacted in a while
But please STOP sharing all of the junk you just saw on MSNBC, CNN, or FOX NEWS. At the end of the day nobody cares what you think. They really don’t’.
Now, go call your Mother. And be nice for a change.....
