The Golf Channel aces its three part tribute to the Golden Bear
Still basking in the afterglow of Sergio Garcia’s come from behind win of the 2017 Masters this past weekend I stumbled upon some really good stuff on The Golf Channel.
Jack, a three part, (3 hour) series about Jack Nicklaus on The Golf Channel tells the story of what would be the final major tournament win for the Golden Bear at Augusta in 1986 and the 17 majors that preceded it. Whether you like golf or not, Jack, narrated by Tom Selleck, is more than worth the time. And it’s very family friendly. So, attempt to get the grandkids off of YouTube for a while and have them sit with you and enjoy some great television.
Tomorrow, April 13th, is the 31st anniversary of the thrilling Masters win by Jack Nicklaus over Tom Kite, Greg Norman and Seve Ballesteros. Here’s some video that will have you saying “Yes Sir!” all day. Jack, by the way, took home a $144,000 for his green jacket win in 1986. Sergio lugged home 1.98 million for his victory on Sunday. Wow!!
