Making 50-stop tour across state
A candidate for US Senate in Missouri plans to visit Marion County next week.
Secretary of State Jason Kander's campaign has announced a 50 stop bus tour of Missouri has gotten underway Monday, and stops in both Palmyra and Hannibal are planned. Kander, who's the front-runner in the August 2nd Democratic primary for U.S. Senate, will visit the Lowell Schactsiek farm near Palmyra next Monday morning. He'll then stop at the Mark Twain Brewery on Main Street in Hannibal during the Noon hour.
Kander is likely to face current U.S. Senator Roy Blunt in the November general election.
