Corn planted progressed to 65 percent this week, 34 percentage points behind last year, while corn emerged progressed to 51 percent. Corn condition was rated at 10 percent very poor, 23 percent poor, 43 percent fair, 23 percent good, and 1 percent excellent. Winter wheat condition was rated at 3 percent very poor, 9 percent poor, 45 percent fair, 37 percent good, and 6 percent excellent. Alfalfa first cutting progressed to 20 percent, 33 percentage points behind last year. Other Hay first cutting progressed to 11 percent, 15 percentage points behind last year.
