There were 6.0 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending September 15, 2019. Topsoil moisture supply was rated 2 percent very short, 19 percent short, 75 percent adequate, and 4 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supply was rated 1 percent very short, 11 percent short, 84 percent adequate, and 4 percent surplus. Corn dented progressed to 80 percent, while corn matured progressed to 30 percent, 49 percentage points behind last year. Corn harvested for grain progressed to 8 percent.
