Most would be near city's north, east sides
Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore says the city may look carefully at annexing some properties near the city’s north and east sides.
Moore made the comment during a question and answer session after his State of the City speech on Friday. Afterwards, Moore said any properties the city annexes would have to meet a certain standard.

Any annexed properties would likely be near some of the new K-5 elementary schools being built by the Quincy Public Schools, as part of their $89 million campaign.
