Authorities say William Cashel, 43, both produced and received child porn
A Ralls County man has been indicted on Federal child pornography charges.
The Ralls County Sheriff's Office said Thursday that 43 year old William Cashel of New London has been indicted by a Federal grand jury in St. Louis. Cashel is charged with production and receipt of child porn over an eight month period in 2015.
If convicted on all charges, Cashel could face up to 50 years in prison, and up to 500 thousand dollars in fines. The Sheriff's Office says the case was investigated by New London police and the Kirksville office of the FBI.
