16-year old hasn't found attorney yet

A 16-year old Quincy boy, accused of murder in the September 26th shooting death of a Quincy man, has had his case delayed to next week after a hearing Wednesday.

Roger Parker, Jr. was in Adams County Circuit Court for a hearing with his attorney. Parker hasn't hired his own lawyer yet, and the case was delayed to Monday. He's been charged as an adult with three counts of 1st Degree Murder in the death of 18-year old Darrell Kelley, Jr. of Quincy. Police say they were called just before 5 PM last Thursday to the 600 block of Sycamore on the report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found Kelley lying in the street, with multiple gun-shot wounds. Kelley died later that night at Blessing Hospital.

Parker is in the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center on $5 million bond.
