Ty Gramley of Columbia, MO. may enter a plea next month

Probable cause has been found against a former Monroe County substitute teacher, charged with child sex crimes.

That ruling against Ty Gramley was handed down Tuesday at a preliminary hearing in Monroe County Associate Court. Gramley's charged with one count of possessing child pornography and two counts of furnishing or attempting to furnish pornographic material to a minor. A probable cause statement says that a Madison C-3 School District student said she had been sending and receiving sexually explicit text messages, photos and videos with Gramley through Facebook Messenger. The student said she met Gramley while he was working as a substitute teacher in the district. School officials say that Gramley wasn't an employee and worked for a contractor that provides substitutes. Prosecutors say that the incidents happened in early March.

Gramley's free on $40,000 bond, and may enter a plea July 3rd.
