Katrina Kraus to enter plea on rape, sodomy charges in Scotland County January 2nd

Probable cause has been found against a northeast Missouri substitute teacher, accused of having sex with an underage boy on multiple occasions.

That ruling against 35-year old Katrina Kraus of Memphis was handed down at a preliminary hearing Tuesday in Scotland County Associate Court. She earlier waived the hearing. Kraus has been charged with five counts of Statutory Rape and two counts of Statutory Sodomy. She also faces Rape and Sodomy charges in Schuyler County, Missouri, and will be in court there Wednesday to have a preliminary hearing date set. Court documents says that according to authorities, Kraus had sex with a juvenile six times between June and October 2017. Five of the incidents were in Scotland County, and one was at a rural Schuyler County cemetery.

Kraus is free on her own recognizance, and may enter a plea in Scotland County on January 2nd.
