Dwayne Brandon is accused of stabbing wife three times

Probable cause has been found against a Quincy man on charges including first-degree attempted murder, after he allegedly stabbed his wife in the neck and shoulder earlier this month near Quincy Notre Dame High School.

That ruling happened Wednesday at a preliminary hearing for 55 year old Dwayne Brandon, who faces that charge, and one count of aggravated Domestic Battery. During the hearing, Quincy police officer Megan Dolbeare testified that Brandon stabbed Tiwana Norris three times in the neck and shoulder. She also said that Norris told officers at Blessing Hospital that when she walked into 820 1/2 Jackson, she saw Brandon, and a knife next to him. She asked Brandon if he was going to stab her, and he allegedly picked up a 2nd knife and said he was going to kill her. Brandon later repeated the claim while police were waiting to book him.

Brandon, who's in the Adams County Jail on $1 million bond, will be arraigned October 25th.
