Men robbed, shot at victim on Quincy's far north side
Quincy police say they're continuing to look for two men who are accused of robbing a Detroit, Michigan man at gunpoint, and then shooting at him, Tuesday night.
Police say they were first called about the incident, which happened in the 26 hundred block of Brook Drive on Quincy's far north side, shortly after 10:30 PM. In a report, officers say they found evidence that a gun had been fired at a vehicle, but no sign of the vehicle or the victim. They later found 27 year old Matthew Mason, who told them that two unknown men had robbed him, only describing the men as black and mixed-race. Mason also said the men's firearm went off during the robbery. No one was hurt during the incident.
Police say the men face charges of Armed Robbery and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and also encourage anyone with information to contact them.
