QPD says Patrick McColez arrested Sunday afternoon
A Quincy man is behind bars, accused of domestic abuse and threatening someone with a loaded weapon Sunday afternoon.
Quincy police identify the man as 54-year old Patrick McColez, and say the incident happened around 1 P.M. Sunday in a home in the 300 block of S. 8th Street. A report says that when officers arrived on scene, they learned that McColez had battered another person. He's also accused of threatening the person with a firearm and fleeing from the scene. The QPD says they arrested McColez after he returned to the home, and that they found a loaded firearm during a search of his vehicle.
McColez faces charges of domestic battery and aggravated assault. He's in the Adams County Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
